How does VelaShape™ and Lipodissolve injections work?

 VelaShape uses combined energies known as elos to precisely target and heat fatty tissues within the treatment area. In addition, the vacuum and tissue manipulation evens out the skin to reveal a smoother, tighter figure. The lipodissolve injections are combination of phospatidylcholine and deoxycolate that are natural fat detergents and are able to dissolve the fat cells

How quickly will I notice a change?

Usual the Vela-lipodissolve starts with a velashape treatment. Gradual improvement of the treated area can be seen following the first treatment- with the skin surface of the treated area feeling smoother, firmer and tighter. Withing a week will give the first series of lipodissolve injections (normal reaction is swelling and some discomfort that last 2-5 days). After 2 weeks wiil continue with 3 more weekly velashape treatments and we conclude with one more series of lipodissolve injections. Results in circumference and cellulite reduction will be most apparent 6-8 weeks following the final session.

 Is treatment safe?

Treatment is safe and effective for all skin types and colors. There are no reported short or long -term health effects.

Does it hurt?

We are using local anesthesia with the injections to minimize the discomfort. Some pain is anticipated the first 24-48h followed by mild discomfort.

About Velashape most patients find it comfortable- like a warm deep tissue massage. The treatment is designed to accommodate your sensitivity and comfort level. It is normal to experience a warm sensation for a few hours post treatment. Your skin may also appear red for several hours.

How do I improve and maintain results?

Following your complete treatment regimen, it is recommended to get maintenance treatments periodically. Like all non-surgical or surgical techniques, results will last longer if you follow a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
